One of the reasons our team loves photographing here is the incredible variety of backdrops. The property offers open fields with soft natural light and beautiful architectural elements that make portraits feel effortless while still feeling warm and authentic.
Before the ceremony began, Casey spent some time with Julie and Shayna capturing couples portraits around the venue grounds. From their first look to some forest portraits, these photos felt so relaxed and romantic!
A Romantic Outdoor Field Ceremony at Le Peaches and Cream
Julie and Shayna chose to hold their ceremony outdoors in the open field, one of the most iconic ceremony spots at Le Peaches and Cream. With wide views of the countryside and beautiful summer light, it created the perfect atmosphere for a heartfelt outdoor wedding ceremony.
And just to rewind a little: their love story began back in 2012 when they worked in the same building. Shayna first spotted Julie while asking for office supplies. She immediately developed a crush! Over time, the two grew closer while working together on the workplace social committee, bonding over shared laughs and countless small moments that slowly turned into something bigger.
Years later, in July 2019, they officially started dating. And the rest, they say, is history.
Standing together in the field, surrounded by the people who matter most, Julie and Shayna exchanged vows in a ceremony that felt deeply personal and full of emotion. The natural setting allowed their connection to shine, making the entire moment feel intimate and genuine.

Golden Hour Wedding Photos in the Field
Mid-way through the reception as the sun began to dip, Casey snuck Julie and Shayna outside for golden hour portraits! This is by far one of the most magical parts of any wedding day. And we always believe that you don’t need actual sunshine to create that magic (you just need the two of you)!
Although golden hour at this venue is something special. The light stretches across the open fields in soft golden tones, creating the most romantic atmosphere imaginable. It’s the perfect setting for couples to pause for a moment together after the excitement of the day. These portraits ended up being some of the most beautiful images from their wedding. Quiet, joyful moments between two people who have loved each other for years.
It felt like the perfect closing chapter to a truly beautiful day!
